Dr Viviane Gravey

Viviane is a Senior Lecturer in European Politics at Queen’s University Belfast. After working on greening EU agriculture policies at IDDRI in Paris, she pursued a PhD in EU environmental policy dismantling at the University of East Anglia.
Since moving to Northern Ireland in 2016 she has been researching the impact of Brexit on UK environmental and agricultural policy and governance, and the interplay of Brexit and devolution, as part of the Brexit & Environment network which she co-chairs.
She has extensive experience working with civil society, parliaments and governments on environmental policy. She is currently chairing the Review of Environmental Governance in Northern Ireland.
