Providing research and communications support across a range of IEEP UK’s policy areas, Edward’s background is in environmental political economy and policy analysis. His academic and professional work to date has focused on food systems and supply chains.
Before joining IEEP UK, Edward worked at the Environmental Justice Foundation (EJF), where he conducted desk- and field-based investigative research on a variety of critical environmental and human rights issues, including deep-sea mining, IUU fishing, and deforestation and slavery within Brazilian agrifood supply chains. He has a master’s degree in International Political Economy from King’s College London and an undergraduate degree in Spanish and Portuguese from the University of Bristol.
