Brexit and its implications for EU environmental policy: speech by Nigel Haigh

The negotiations between the UK and the EU 27 on the UK’s departure from the EU are still in suspense, but we can already identify some of the environmental implications and risks. And understanding the UK’s history as one of the actors shaping EU environmental policy is important to assessing the impacts. Nigel Haigh, Honorary Fellow and former Executive Director of IEEP, spoke recently on these issues at the Academy of European Law’s annual Environmental Law conference.
