[In the media] IEEP UK on the BBC Food Programme

On Fri 7 Feb, IEEP UK Executive Director Ben Reynolds appeared on the BBC Food Programme talking to Sheila Dillon about national food policies, ahead of the UK Government’s planned food strategy for England.

The episode explored previous attempts to improve the food we eat and the impact it has through national policy, and also featured Dr Dolly Van Tulleken, a visiting researcher at Cambridge University’s MRC Epidemiology Unit, Anna Taylor, head of the Food Foundation; Henry Dimbleby, author of The National Food Strategy; Welsh food historian Carwyn Graves; and two Food Ambassadors for The Food Foundation Dominic Watters and Magda Rechnio.

IEEP UK are hosting a webinar, chaired by Sheila Dillon on 24 March 2025 building on the episode and bringing in the experiences from other nations across Europe on national food policies.
