The European Commission has issued a draft declaration on sustainable development, due to be adopted at the next European Council meeting in June. In this briefing, IEEP looks at the draft declaration, and expresses concern about the inclusion of ‘general’, rather than ‘environmental’ policy integration, and the possible ‘roll back’ on the environment.
