The Manual: Chapter 2 – Air quality

This publication forms a section of the Manual of European Environmental Policy, published by IEEP in 2012. EU air quality policy, motivated to avoid trade distortions and protect public health, is extensive and contains many directives that impose standards, provisions and developments of air quality management and regulation. Topics include: air quality standards, the sulphur content of certain liquid fuels and emissions from vehicles including cars, tractors and commercial vehicles.
