Divergence HUB

IEEP UK’s Divergence HUB is a forum for discussion and the sharing of evidence-based knowledge and information on the challenges and implications of UK-EU and intra-UK divergence in environmental policy.

Chaired by IEEP UK, these meetings are open to invited participants from the eNGO community, professional management bodies, academia and industry. Meetings are carried out virtually, on a quarterly basis and cover a variety of divergence topics, and include presentations from experts in the field. To encourage open debate, they are not recorded and operate under the Chatham House Rule.

Recent meeting topics have included water quality, the Sandeels issue, the EU’s omnibus packages and simplification agenda, the Planning and Infrastructure Act, and the UK-EU Reset.

If you are interested in attending future Divergence HUB meetings, please get in touch.
