The UK’s departure from the European Union in 2020 has undoubtedly had an impact on environmental policies produced on both sides of the Channel. Certain policy areas are still consisten between them, however, as the UK begins to follow its own path, there are many others where the UK may diverge from the EU.
To ensure that interested parties are informed about the key developments, areas of divergence, and, even convergence between UK and EU legislators, IEEP UK has produced a series of monthly newsletter highlighting the most important developments in this space, not just divergences between the EU and UK, but also showcasing examples of divergence within the UK’s four nations, England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
